Summary:
A website design and development project to replace an existing website. The client sought a dynamically-driven website with a CMS (content management system) to facilitate robust communication about product enhancements and support issues with an installed client base of 300 companies and non-profit institutions.

Process and Documentation:
Due to the functional complexity of the site, we worked a more formalized discovery and documentation process that began with analysis of the current web site, discussion of new functionality and access roles for the CMS. We created and worked from a series of documents including: a functional requirements document where the site's functionality and CMS administration were defined, a design document complete with site design structures and interior page motifs; wireframes; use cases; and page flow diagrams outlining the site's functional flow on a page-by-page basis.

Technology:
Dynamically-driven, template-based custom .NET/MSSQL web CMS application complete with access controls for site and client portals and role-based content administration. jQuery library was used for the front page slideshow and in the site administration section.
